Rune begins his final departure here, moving away from the reunited couple of Chaz and Rika. As he walks off to the distant mountains, we looks back over his shoulder to wish them well. Perhaps he is also taking one last look, so that he can remember the two of them, who represent Algo's future. Such a memory might sustain him during future trials.
