You might be asking yourself, "Who the heck is Latis?" Simply put, Latis is a preliminary version of Rune Walsh. This set of sketches comes from very early in Phantasy Star IV's development phase. The visual design, while similar, is quite a bit different here. The sketch is also dated, which is quite rare among such pieces for Phantasy Star. May 23, 1991 - game development may have started in that very month.
