Zio fan-art done! ^^

Here he is, the baddest villian around town! Took me a while to shade him, but the effort is so worth it. If you want him converted into a wallpaper, then just post your screen resolutions here.

Hope I like him? Man I wish he was a playable character

I was actually thinking about about making him into a playable character in my fan-game...But that would require even more work and fleshing out of the storyline...I actually have three alternate endings planned: sad, normal and a perfect ending... With regard to Zio as a playable char, well, I would need some feedback from the fans, obviously, and see how they feel about kicking out Rune and replacing him with Zio...By kicking out I don't mean bumping off Mr.Walsh, he is, after all, my favourite character after Alys.

But you can post your ideas in my game thread/post.

An interesting concept to be sure. I'd like to know a little more about how all that would play out before I give my opinion on it.

Cool fan art--I always loved Zio's design. If I'm not mistaken, this fan art looks somewhat inspired off of Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance's character artwork presentation in the game, but that's me. Not a bad thing, I always liked the colored version of the art in the foreground backed up by a fainter image in the back. It looks interesting that way.

Well you could always borrow Chrono Trigger's idea with Magus. Make him playable but only if certain requirements are met. Perhaps after the fight, he's injured, but not killed, then Dark Force tries to kill him and you find him later on nursing his wounds, plotting revenge. Better yet, to not go total cliche, he could want revenge against you and witness the party defeating a great evil and this convinces him to join your party in order to prove his strength and worth to himself.

Actually Lemina, the fan-art is inspired by Fire Emblem, but not from Path of Radiance, rather from FE 7. Love that game.


One of my fav chars, Hector. The style of artwork heavily influenced my works.

That font would be the GothicE font, Atlin. Works well for the style of drawing.
