Your Playlist, if you have one.

In a fit of boredom and eagerness for what I am soon to attend here in bonny Scotland... .. I feel eager to know what you all listen to, whenever.. Perhaps your music lists may be far too long to put in one post without stretching the poor page, well remember.... the font size is very useful..

I usually find myself listening to music from Games..

My play list is always on random and I always listen through my i-pod. Video game music dominates my library currently.

Since I know for sure a good portion of us here likes video games.. I shall post what game soundtracks I own.

Breath of Fire 5
Castlevania:SOTN
Chrono Trigger
Ecco the Dolphin, TOT and DOTF
Elder Scrolls: Morrowind
Elder Scrolls: Oblivion
Fable
Final Fantasy 6, 8, Tactics
Halo
Ico
Illusion of Gaia
Katamari Damacy
Okami
Panzer Dragoon, Zwei, Saga, Orta
Phantasy Star 4 (duh! D:)
Shadow of the Colossus
Star Craft
Vagrant Story
Xenogears
Zelda: Wind waker

Lately I have been listening to Xenogears, I played that game... when it first came out. Enjoyed the music, but it was a accident how I got the cd! A friend of mine is into a anime called "X" and she thought she purchased the soundtrack to it because it had a big red X on it, nope. It was the Xenogears soundtrack. I bought it off of her. :D

I think I have much more game music too, just not yet burned. I'll have to look.

As far as normal.. I usually dislike what is out there on the radio, so that is lacking.

I tend to like video game music and things with guitar... I'm a sucker for strings. :p

I can't say that I have a playlist. I usually just pick a song or band manually.

Video game music I currently have:
A remix of Another World from Chrono Cross
Many remixed Phantasy Star tracks from PSI-IV
Spyro the Dragon (cute game, cute music! I find it catchy )
Castlevania remixes
Legend of Legaia

And that's it for now. :D

Oh, and bands and artists... So many I like. <3 I'll just list favorites.

Groups/artists I like:
Aerosmith
Alice Cooper
Black Sabbath
Bon Jovi
Collective Soul (some)
Guns N' Roses
Motley Crue
Nirvana
Rammstein
Rob Zombie (some, but mostly for the guitar)
Soundgarden
Stevie Wonder
Tears for Fears (notably for a few songs)
Twisted Sister
Weird Al

There's also many groups which I'll only like one or two songs from...and as you can see, I like a wide variety of things, I guess. :D

Nintendo - Dragon Roost Island
Me'Shell Ndegeocello - Poison Ivy
Black Lab - Learn to Crawl
Stan Bush - Dare
The Immortals - Hypnotic House (Mortal Kombat)
Enya - May It Be
Highway to the Dangerzone
Peter Gabriel - I Have the Touch
Splashdown - Karma Slave
The Immortals - Rayden (Eternal Life)
The Immortals - Sonya (Go Go Go)
The Eagles - Lyin' Eyes
Theme from Spider-Man
Some Gave All
Partners in Kryme - Turtle Power

Like Thoul, my catalogue of music is so rich that it would take a while to list all the tracks, (perhaps I'll get around to it in a bit,) so here's an overview of games and groups:

Video games: The majority of the Skies of the Arcadia soundtrack except for the utterly crazy stuff like Hamachou Island :hyper: , and about 2/3 of the Star Control 2 remixes.

Other music: Juno Reactor and Garbage, especially during weight training. The sheer energy of the music by those groups can always push a couple more reps out of me! :punch: Garbage is very dark, in that desperate rebellion sense, but they're so technically sound that I can take the depravity; and Shirley Manson has an astonishing range in her voice!

I'm getting into the Classical genre now in search of some triumphant music, go Rachmaninoff! I can't stand anything that's been released lately. It seems all anyone wants to sing about is pain. It's pretty sad that one has to look to video games for music portraying celebration and heroism.

I would listen to PSIV songs... but I can't get any that are recorded from the PAL release.. :? The songs I find are always just too fast..

There's not very much video game music in my playlist, though I do have a few pieces in there. I prefer music with lyrics, but most game music I've found is just instrumental pieces. I have a few game soundtracks (including Skies! ;)), but I leave them out of my playlist most of the time.

HA! You've got Skies too! No wonder I like it so much around here!

My playlist is a bit too long too post and just sits on random all the time. I don't have much game music/soundtracks on there but there are a few. I'd have to say that my favorite game soundtrack of the ones I own though is the Guild Wars: Factions soundtrack. It's really well composed.

I don't really have a playlist right now. I listen to the radio more; I got tired of hearing the same old music on my PC. I used to have some songs from the Skies of Arcadia, Breath of Fire II, and Phantasy Star Online OST. And a few movie soundtracks, mainly Lord of the Rings, too.
