Remembering the games of yesteryear.

The last retro I bought and started was Flashback for the Mega Drive / Genises. Purchased it on ebay last year. I haven't got very far yet since two days earlier I bought another game (Golden Axe III) which distracted me too much from Flashback :) Retro rules.

I have played it, yes, but only a few minutes :). It is very complex and I didn't got used to the controls. So I layed it aside :)

True that the controls of Flashback are very complex to master totally. A few minutes ? A good start !

Vector Man 2, as part of my Sega MegaDrive collection on PS3. Awesome action platform game indeed.

The two Vector Mans are truly good games ! Not too hard (sa Alien Soldier can be...what an horror to play !) I also tried it (them) on the Sega Megadrive collection but on XBOX 360 ;)

The last retro game I bought was Diable de Laplace [SFC]. I don't own the system, but I am a huge fan of the game.
The last retro game I am currently playing as of the moment is Final Fantasy [NES] and Phantasy Star III [GEN] for the Virtual Console.

Tonight I started a new playthrough of Phantasy Star: Generation 1. I never finished it last time, due to various technology issues. So now I'm going to try it again and hopefully get some more material for the site at the same time.

I abused save states to get Myau and Odin while Alis was still at level 1. They join at her level, so this way I can check their stat growth. I'm not going to try the same with Lutz, though. After a few hours of exploring and grinding, the trio is at level 22 already.
