Your Last Retro Game

Remembering the games of yesteryear.

Although I haven’t received it yet the last retro game I have purchased is The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker for the Gamecube. I plan to play it on my Wii when it arrives.

If Gamecube isn’t considered retro to some then the last game I played would be Metal Gear on the NES which I really failed at. It’s still an interesting game none the less.

I don't know what is considered "retro", but I've been playing Arc the Lad recently, and it is pretty old.

The "retro" is for me all the games of ancient generation : Arc the Lad is for me a retro game ! As it was on the first playstation and actually it's the thirs one in activity ;)
But for a lot of players retro is only very old games : that's a bit different for every person ! And it doesn't matter : the essential is to have fun while playing :)

Well, I have many PS One games to play on my PSP or PS Vita because I've never owned a PS One, so if PS One can be considered retro, I'll have many retro games to play for a long time. Anyway, what is important is that many of them are really good and I'm having fun with them.

Since PS One was releassed at the end of 1994 (in Japan), I'd consider it retro. Speaking of which, I'm planning to play Castlevania: Symphony of the Night for the first time. I'm not a Castlevania nut or anything (having only played the first four), but the Metroid-esque gameplay seems pretty interesting to me.

Yes, I agree : PS one is a retro machine as the console isn't selling anymore.. so no problem about it ! And Castlevania is a great serie :)

I just finished Uninvited, for the NES, and it was absolutely epic. I was so stoked to find it. And like the other MacVenture games, it had some awesome music.
