New Nintendo 3 DS

Any thoughts on this new device?

And a follow-up, question:

Does the Australian new 3DS have its own E Store? Or does it share the E store with the European market?

I love the new design and everything, but mostly... I'm disappointed that they didn't release the regular size. I was planning on getting that one, as both the 2ds and the xl are too big for me. I just can't do that . Even in my coat pockets or handbag or something. Also, I loved the regular 3ds's design in black or white with the NES styled buttons.

My "old" 3DS XL is sufficient ! But why not later ?

I will wait a little while. I hope it get a price drop and perhaps some first-version defects fixed.

I also have to finish more PS Vita games before I start playing the 3DS games I have. Otherwise, I will never focus on anything.

I wish the PSP or the PS Vita had XL versions. Their smallness has been a major detractor

I kind of like the smallness of the Vita. Works great for me and my tiny hands. But I can totally see how it may be too small for some, especially with its tiny analog sticks.

Man, I just put a 2DS on layaway at work! >_<

(Yes, a 2DS. It's all we have left for the video game stuff, it's less expensive than a 3DS, I have an employee discount, and I'm cheap.)

Looks like Nintendo filed the 3ds to the FCC as a device. In the States as well as the XL

Here's hoping they'll eventually release it in the states!
