Coke's secret recipe

Just read another article regarding Coca Cola's secret formula, and whether or not the "secret" has been discovered.

Personally, I don't think the world is ever going to find out what this secret formula is...atleast not anytime soon.

I have to wonder why everyone is worried about Coke's secret recipe when there are a lot more things to be concerned about going on in the world [present company excluded SS]

Ever consider that you might regret learning what the secret ingredient is? Ever consider it might be a banned substance, or even worse, something as yet unknow to the FDA? Do recall that whatever the present "secret ingredient" is it was formulated to replace cocaine, which was the original secret ingredient.

Even if it is the real formula, Coca-Cola will never admit that. Admitting that their best kept corporate secret has been made public would be a disastrous step. All the investors would lose faith in the company's security and dozens of near-identical sodas would flood the market.

They say the "Coke's secret formula" was revealed many times. Whether it is true or not, this time or the times before, it will not make much difference. It is already proven that people can be influenced in believing two sips of the same drink taste radically different or two sips of two different drinks taste the same.
