Yoshinori Ono interested in Nintendo vs Capcom

I was kind of hoping for Capcom vs SNK 3 instead, but this is still pretty exiting. Yoshinori Ono, producer of (Super) Street Fighter IV and SF x Tekken, said that he is interested in making Nintendo vs Capcom

If it ever does happen, there should be 2 versions: a Capcom one with Street Fighter gameplay, and the Nintendo version should be more akin to Super Smash Bros. gameplay. Anyway, what are your thoughts on this?

Hmm, it could happen. Nintendo has loaned out some of their characters to Capcom before, for the Zelda GBA games. I'd prefer to see it done with the two version format also. If I had to pick one over the other, I would go for the Smash Bros. format.

If such a thing did happen I could see some good match ups. Mario vs. Mega Man, Strider Hiryu vs. Sheik, Oni vs. Ganon. The possibilities...

I second what Thoul said. And I'd likely get a game like this, depending, of course, on the characters involved. If it had Ness or Ammy in it (or even better both, that would RULE) I'd definitely get it in a heartbeat.
