One of the most important and recognizable symbols of American freedoms and Independence (and of July 4th), Lady Liberty (The Statue Of Liberty) will reopen her crown to the public for the first time since the 9/11 terrorist attacks:

So, have you ever visited The Statue Of Liberty in person? If so, what did you think of it?

I think the history of The Statue Of Liberty is awesome and very inspiring, especially considering it was a gift to the US from France. Here are some picture stories about the Statue and it's origins, etc.:

I've never been. I'd like to go sometime, but I don't think all those stairs would settle very well with me.
