Is it just me, or does anyone else get the impression that Sony has no real idea of how the make the PlayStation 3 a big success? At E3 today, they announced another new PlayStation 3 model. This is what, the fourth or fifth version? On this one, they're adding more storage, going back up to 80GB, but stripping out the backward compatibility entirely.
I was thinking about getting a PS3 pretty soon, but these days I'm not sure if I want to get one, or wait until they announce the next new model and hope it is backward compatible. That's one of the major selling points for me. Sony seems determined to remain a two console company, though.
