The Cardinal is a very beautiful bird. Most male Cardinals are a bright red and the female Cardinal is a duller red, almost brown, it looks like sometimes. A very, rare male Cardinal, yellow in color, has been spotted at a backyard feeder in the State of Alabama in the USA. This bird is rare and even more beautiful, if that is at all possible. Many birdwatchers have never even seen one since they are so very rare. Keep an eye on your backyard feeders, you never can tell what you may see there one day.
