$50 Price Cut for the Xbox One at some stores

Several retailers are slashing the price of the Xbox One. Microsoft retail stores, along with Walmart, Target, Best Buy, and Amazon are selling the new console for $450 which includes the Titanfall bundle or the regular version which includes a Forza Motorsport 5 download code.

I think this is closer to where the price should be. I hope Microsoft makes the price cut official.

Interesting offer ! But even with that, far too expensive for me ! But for those who were interested by the console, why not ? :)

I'm actually pretty interested. I've been looking for something to blow my Tax Return on.

Agree with myau56 in that it is still too expensive and they probably know that already hence the current slash in price. Although it is a step in the right direction as we can possibly hope for future price reductions also. It may not happen anytime soon, but we can hope.

But the price isn't the only thing ! It needs many great games because for the moment, there isn't ... :( But it's indeed a good step in the right direction, hope they are going to continue soon !

Yeah, the only reason I would want an Xbox One at this point would be Killer Instinct, and one game generally doesn't warrant a 450$ system. I'm just not interested enough in first-person shooters to go for Xbox, I never have before and I doubt I ever will. All the ungodly crap they were trying to pull before release regarding internet usage and used games and the Orwell-friendly camera stuff definitely seals the deal for me, I think that supporting this system would be supporting a direction for gaming I definitely don't want to go in.

I've loved FPS but now ... :( And even for Killer Onstinct I'll not buy one now :) Maybe later but I highly doubt it..

I will be getting one in due time. I end up getting every system eventually. I wouldn't be playing FPS games on it, I prefer to play FPS games on my PC. I would be looking to get Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag, Dead Rising 3, Tomb Raider Definitive Edition, and Strider. Nothing really essential at the moment though.

Playing FPS games on PC is actually extremely precise. The keyboard and mouse interface for FPS games feels much more natural than dual analog sticks to me, and it has much faster response times. This is why auto-aiming was created for console games. So console gamers playing a cross plaform FPS game with PC gamers are able to compete.
