50 EA games going offline due to GameSpy shutdown

Postby S4Blade » Mon May 12, '14, 5:11 pm

Article: http://www.joystiq.com/2014/05/12/50-ea ... -shutdown/

List of games: http://www.ea.com/1/service-updates

These will be the affected EA games when Gamespy shuts down.

Nothing too bad. Crysis and Crysis 2, but I don't think I would play either of these online. Crysis games are all about the single player mode for me.

I don't think I've played ANY of those games, and if I have, certainly not online. I think I've stated before I'm just not big on online multiplayer, I'm much more of a single player or co-op over LAN or online with people I know (my boyfriend and I just love co-op Saints Row).
Next Pokemon game(s): Pearl
Last finished Pokémon game: Shield
Other games: Skyrim Special Edition (Switch), Spyro Reignited Trilogy (Switch & PS4), Okami (Switch & PS4)
Other gaming goals: completing a Living Pokedex (minus some event Pokes) and going through at least 1 game per generation

You're right, nothing too bad about this list ! Same as Wolf Bird : you know that I am not an online player at all :) only portable consoles now !
I've played a few Battlefield 2 on my XBOX 360 and that was great ! :) But it's now behind me...I have enjoyed PSO too ! On Dreamcast then gamecube :)

I'm not crazy about online gaming either. I do it, but it's usually in MMOs, where they have to be online, and I tend to solo almost everything anyway.

The only competitive online shooter I play is S4 League, and there are times when I really like it, and there are times when I want to uninstall it.
