Who do you take along in PSIV?

When you reach the end of PSIV and can choose your fifth party member from Gryz, Hahn, Kyra, Raja, and Demi, who do you pick and and why?

I usually take Raja. He's not much on attacking, but I like having the extra healer along. His St Fire skill comes in handy against the dark monsters in the Edge, too.

Gryz. Gryz for the longest time has been my favorite character, and I admit, he still is one of my favorites. I also admit to taking other characters over Raja, just because I like to have an offense oriented party. Then again, I usually end up with a high level party, so health is never really an issue.

For me, it's Demi. I like to have a good offense at that point and I feel she's the best for that. I believe she has more damaging and multi-hit attacks than the others. The downside is needing more repair kits to heal, but most enemies won't last long enough to do a lot of damage when you have a solid group of fighters.

I usually take Raja. He is great healer and his St. Fire and Ataraxia are very useful. Sometimes I take Hanh instead. He has big amount of TP and some good techs.

I always take Raja, though Kyra is a close 2nd since she's great for macros.

What I'm wondering is how many people don't take a 5th person at all? I've never tried it, but I'm sure it's been done, unless the game prevents it.

Well, if your team is stoorng enough, you can easly beat PD without the fifth member.

I bet they have to be pretty strong to do that. There's probably a lot of extra leveling involved.

When I first played it, Raja, because he made it such a cakewalk. But since, I've become a fanatic of Hahn. His end-game equips are great and it's a long time in between getting to use him.

I usually take Kyra. I like her Slasher attacks, reminds me of Alys. The extra healing is nice. Raja makes a better healer, but lacks attack. The downside of Kyra is her defense. Raja with two shields can hardly be touched, keeping Kyra alive (I always use twin slashers) can be a bit more difficult. But I finished the game with every possible fifth member.

Well normally I'd take Kyra.. But since I discovered a trick in the game *and wrote a Faqs about it* I now take Alys along with a few other characters to the last battle ^_^ My party usually consists now of Alys, Chaz, Rune, Kyra, Hahn.. The game is alot more difficult without Wren and Rika tagging along with you ^_^ You try taking on Lashiec without Barrier Deban and a few good healing techs >_< I barely won the battle *Alys struck the final blow cuz she's the best*
