As for me, if I had to choose between Frodo or Sam, I'd pick Sam. He seemed to be a lot more sensible than Frodo. If it wasn't for Sam, I don't think Frodo would have finished the journey, etc. :yes:

On Frodo/Sam... Sam. Though in Frodo's defense, he was being driven insane by a magic ring, so his real character didn't get the same chance to shine that Sam had.

On Politician/Teacher... Teacher. Sharing knowledge with others and leading them to it is a far more fulfilling occupation, IMO.
