XD, I didn't even know there was more than one, lol, shows how much I know.
Everything has a pattern. Something set. Even random things. They aren't random at all, its complex mathematics. The trick is to find the pattern. Then you can exploit it.

People think things have a certain end. Taxes. Work. Due dates don't really exist. Trust me. When you put a band of world scholars in the same room, and set them on talking about anything, the most interesting topics come up. The existence of negative time. The probability of "random occurrence". The government's involvement in the media. And falsified due dates. They aren't real, trust me....

I don't know, but when in doubt, I'd say start with the first one and work your way up from there. :p

The best place to start would be Episode I & II on the GameCube. It has both of the Dreamcast versions in one package. Episode III was also on the GC, I think, but is a drastically different game.

But if you want to play online, you'll probably want to go for Blue Burst (aka Episode 4), which is only available for PC. Blue Burst is, as far as I know, the only officially supported version that still has online play available.

Some of the older versions can be played online, but only on an unofficial server - I couldn't tell you more about that because I haven't looked into it myself.

 The GameCube version would probably be best. I think Blue Burst allows you to play Episodes I and II on PC, too, but the GameCube combo is the one I want to get at some point when I restart playing PSOnline. Or PS Offline, I guess I should say.

Um.. I probobly should have mentioned that the only pre-new-generation console I have is an Xbox and PS2. =s Where does that leave me in terms of choices?

Episode I and II was also released on the Xbox. Everything else was Dreamcast, GameCube, or PC. I believe there is no online support at all for the Xbox version now, so you'd probably have to get a PC version to play online.

Hrm... probably not. It would require access to some technical information about how the official servers worked, and that information is no longer available since those servers are all shut down, except for Blue Burst for PC.

There is an existing private server that you can use, but it requires some work to get connected to it.
