As a hack 'n' slash, it was good. The only problem is that sometimes you have to backtrack a lot in the map, and you have to fight many boring and useless battles.
As for the rest, the plot is fine, and the gameplay is good. There are lots of different movements, and there is some strategy involved (which is not very common in hack 'n' slash games). The art is stunning, as in every Vanillaware game, and the game shines in Vita-1000 Oled screen.
Although Dragon's Crown is a better hack 'n' slash in my opinion, Muramasa is still good.
A person only sees and hears what he wants to see and hear and disregards the rest.
