Just finished Gex: Enter the Gecko. I did not 100% it though, but I can't say I particularly want to. It's definitely a solid platformer for its era, but the last couple of levels were plagued with difficulties with the camera and judging depth to make some of those jumps. Final boss was a bit of a joke, but again, I sort of expect that from 90s era 3-D platformers.
That said, though, the game had personality and a good sense of humor, for sure. A lot of references are definitely dated and there's more than a few groaners, but there's plenty of references and jokes Gex makes throughout the game, differing depending on the theme of the level, that are truly, genuinely funny.
Not sure what the next new thing is. I had started the first Sly game on the HD collection, but I may set that aside for the time being, as I'm platformed out for a bit. Also still have BioShock for my rare FPS fix, so I may check out some of the other indie games I downloaded from PS Plus.
Next Pokemon game(s): Pearl
Last finished Pokémon game: Shield
Other games: Skyrim Special Edition (Switch), Spyro Reignited Trilogy (Switch & PS4), Okami (Switch & PS4)
Other gaming goals: completing a Living Pokedex (minus some event Pokes) and going through at least 1 game per generation
