What was the first video game you ever played?

Here's a tough one, what was the very first video game you remember playing?

The earliest I can recall is Pac-Man, on an arcade machine somewhere.

Super Mario Bros. is one my first game memories. The local grocery store had one of those arcade machines with 10 games in it. I think it was called Play 10. It had several early Nintendo game, like Duck Hunt and Excitebike.

The first game I remember playing is The Little Mermaid on NES. I remember I got the NES with that game and Mario/Duck Hunt for Christmas when I was five.

Either Columns or Streets of Rage, on Mega Drive.

Probably Mario Brothers. It's been so long I can't remember.

Probably Battle City, on NES. Cool game, I replayed it on emulator of NES few days ago

Super Mario Bros. on NES. Ah, how the hammer brothers kept giving me trouble in the old days.

I can't remember the first game I played. It was an NES game I'm sure, as that is the first system I owned (well, technically I had an Atari passed down from my uncle, but the NES was bought for me and my brother).

I do remember the first game I ever beat though, and that was Super Metroid. The greatest game ever.

So, was anyone else a Warp Zone junkie? Cause, you know, I always hated those stupid fish in World 2.

I always tried to go for the first warp zone, too. I could usually dodge the fish, but I couldn't stand those squids chasing me.

No matter how many times I warped ahead though, I could never get through the last stage.
