Ever changed batteries?

Remembering the games of yesteryear.

Ever changed batteries?

The old cartridge based games that could save usually had batteries inside them. If the battery dies, the game will no longer save. For at least some types of cartridges, it is possible to change the batteries. Have you ever changed any like that?

I haven't myself, though I figure some of my old NES games probably need to be changed.

My Final Fantasy I cartridge probably needs the battery changed. I can make it pretty far into it and the data will just erase. There has been one occasion when I got extremely lucky and got to save and load up the data twice. Got to the end and bam, no more Light Warriors. Oh well lol.
