Yeah, about that... What does Barrier actualy do? I know it raises defense, but what do those three letters in from of the word "defense" represent?

It raises defense against magic. It's just like Deban, but Deban is for physical attacks and Barrier is for magic.
The three letters you mentioned are "NRG" if I remember right. I used to know what they stood for, but I've forgotten. It had something to do with the type of energy field barrier makes around the characters I think.
