Buy Games or Rent Games?

Do you buy most of the games you play when they come out or do you rent them first or borrow them or try them somehow ahead of time before buying them to see if you will like it enough to buy it? Or do you wait until the price goes down a bit and purchase them then. Just wondering.

As expensive as most of these games are, it pays to shop around sometimes and get the best deal.

^^ I buy ... all of my games, usually when I first see them. Haha, simple as.

I usually buy first, I do however rent once in awhile.

I used to always rent before I bought, but lately I know my tastes well enough that I just buy games that I'm interested in.

Sometimes I'll rent, if I'm unsure of the game. Games based on movies, for instance. I rent most of those, since they have a reputation of being short and lacking substance.

But if it's something I think I will like enough, I'll just buy it right out instead.

Sometimes I'll wait for the price to drop a little before buying. Paying $20 or $30 is a lot better than paying $50 or $60. You have to be careful with that, though. It's really easy to miss out on a game when doing that.
