Sega Europe has announced two SEGA game sites: SEGAPoker.net and SEGACasino.net. The blog posting there says SEGACasino.net has a Phantasy Star based slots game. Unfortunately, the site blocks access from the US so I'm not sure if it's classic PS or one of the newer series.

That sucks! Why are they being * and blocking people in the US from seeing the sites?

Could be a traffic/bandwidth issue. Sega's not the only website I've seen block foreign traffic- the BBC's Doctor Who website has all its videos unavailable outside of Britain. =(

It's probably a legal reason here. According to Google's stored copy of the site's terms of service, people in the US are not allowed to create accounts and play the games. It probably deals with gambling laws or something.

The game is called Phantasy star Reels (and shows PSU).

I really don't like slot games and this one won't change my mind about that....

Thanks for the screenshots, Ome_Joop! I half expected the game to be based on PS Universe. It's nice to know for certain.
