Might jam out to some Dream Theater on the way to Flushing today. 6 Degrees (second disk) is always good for a trip. Or even Octavarium. My ride hasn't listen to much DT before. So it will be fun to see their reaction.

The Protomen album is pretty good, from what I've heard of it. I like how they have a narrative running through all the tracks.

Help is on the Way by Rise Against. It’s not a bad song at all, I quite like this band actually.

I’ve been listening to Xperiment a lot lately. Blood Game (X-Tropeaos VS Xperiment) is probably my pick at the moment out of their stuff.

As always and often, I've been listening to Amorphis songs ! What a great band, the greatest in the world for me (I'm fan of the band names finishing by IS as I'ma big fan of ol Oasis, even if that's FAR to be the samze msical genre ! ).
The next Amorphis album is scheduled to be released in April ! I'm eager to discover it !!! :fiery:

I still cannot stop listening to Gojira's L'enfant sauvage album. It gets more brilliant with every listen. Which is what progressive music should do, but still...I can't get enough.

And this song in particular...

Utterly mind-melting live. L'enfant Sauvage was a consistent member of top metal albums of 2012 lists, was often in the top 5, and several magazines/reviewers even ranked it the number 1 metal release of 2012. I've got 6 songs (of 13 on the special edition) on my favorites playlist and the album permanently synced to my phone.

New Amorphis out today! Downloaded Circle from iTunes during my lunch hour so I could listen to it during my commute. And WOW, did they raise the bar on themselves again! I had high expectations after The Beginning of Times, which was their last release, and they shattered them by taking a hammer to those expectations and reduced them to subatomic particles. DEFINITELY will be listening to this again to let it sink in more, and also hoping I will get the chance to see them live if/when they tour the United States.
