Doing my Friday morning podcasts...NPR's It's All Politics podcast, which is a weekly podcast that just rounds up the political news of the week. It's informative, the hosts can be entertaining when warranted, and it's the perfect length...generally hovers around 20 minutes.

I’ve been listing to some of Black Tides songs my favourites being “Honest Eyes” and “That Fire”. They remind me a little of Breaking Benjamin actually.

I also stumbled across a Dark Electro band by the name of Xperiment whom originate in Spain. Considering I’m a fan of both metal and trance/techno music this band seems to blend both genres rather well. They still seem quite underground however; I think they may have two very hard to find albums out.

Lucas, you might like the band Rammstein with that in mind. Have you heard/heard of them?

And right now, I just have some time to kill, so I've just put on my 'favorite everything' playlist on shuffle, as of this moment, it's on 'Final Eyes' by Yes, probably my second favorite classic rock band, after Rush. And it went there after playing 'Coat of Arms' by Sabaton, so quite a stylistic jump!

Ah I know Rammstein ! Didn't know at all german language ( pero habla espanol

) but that's a great band !!

I think I have Sabaton leaking out of my ears. In preparation for that show (19 days! :hyper:

) I've been listening to a ton of Sabaton. And when I need a break from Sabaton, I've been listening mostly to other metal bands with a somewhat similar style, things like Sonata Arctica, Symphony X, and other power metal bands, though I'll sometimes throw in some of the progressive rock/metal bands I like.

Right now I'm listening to Sabaton's album Metalizer, which was their first and IMO, their weakest. I don't think they started getting really good and finding their sound until their third album, Attero Dominatus, which is a masterpiece of power metal awesomeness.

Yes, I agree, Metalizer isn't their best album but not too bad !
Some of my friends are going to see Nightwish in concert on wednesday !

Sorry for such a late reply, this thread has slipped past me a few times. But yes I know of the band quite well. I don’t listen to Rammstein to frequently however.

Elvenking - March of Fools from their album Winterwake.

Gamma Ray is awesome too. This forum seems to have a relatively large population of metalheads.
