What are you listening to?

"The Ninth Wave" by Blind Guardian, one of my two most beloved bands. I was at a live show in Offenbach last Friday and I am still hearing the echoes of the loud, sold-out audience in my ears

I'm listening to the Mighty Switch Force 2 soundtrack. I haven't played the game, I just stumbled upon the OST from another VGM composer's recommendations, but it sounds groovy!

Insomnium's "While We Sleep" from Shadows of the Dying Sun. It was far and away my favorite album of 2014, and at this point my favorite melodic death metal album. May even be top ten, maybe top five, material for me. Brilliance from beginning to end. The guitar riff that starts at about 1:45 is good at getting in my head and just makes me want to listen to the song/album.

The Greatest Show on Earth by Nightwish. Almost 25 minutes of awesomeness from beginning to end.

Gosh, hard to believe that it has almost been a year since this topic was posted on.

Anyway, I have been listening to a lot of music by singer/musician Glenn Campbell since his death yesterday. He did a lot of country songs but other types of music as well. He certainly was one of the best singers/musicians of his time.

I've heard so many things those last months ! But actually, it's old video game music ; Final Fantasy 6 !
