That part with the food on the video game controllers was just gross though. NO WAY would I ever get food on, or that close, to any of my video game equipment!! I am really fussy and careful about that. I can see how someone may have a problem there though.

That video certainly made me want some fried green tomatoes though, lol.

Just finished the traditional New Year's Day meal of blackeyed peas, turnip greens, yams, mashed potatoes, corn bread, chicken, etc. I am stuffed!

I'm stuffed too ! Nice mals on this New year first day tomorrow ! It was first a seafood plate (but I don't like them, even if I was bors next to the sea ^^) but ther was Foie Gras too (and I LOVE that !!), then capon with french beans (but I don't really like them

lol ), roasted chestnuts, many cheeses and to finish a great Tiramisu !

Last thing I ate today was scrambled eggs, a couple of fried vienna sausages and a toasted cheese sandwich with coke!! Late breakfast (which will probably wind up being dinner also) and I was hungry, lol.

Last evening/night, that was a small party (soft !) with some friends and that was more pizzas and sodas

Last thing I ate this evening for dinner was a barbecued Spam sandwich (yummy) and some HOT homemade potato/tomato soup. The hot soup certainly felt good on this very cold, cold day!!

I needed to cook something for dinner tonight; I was feeling rather uninspired, so I had a good wander around the grocery store, and I realized I hadn't made ribs in a really long time. I got some nice hickory barbecue sauce and a bunch of fresh asparagus, and we had a very tasty meal tonight. Usually any sort of special meat gets the thumbs-up in this household, but I am now the Best Wife in the World thanks to those delicious ribs! :heart:
