I haven't heard very much about this West Nile virus in the past few years since there was a big scare about it when it first surfaced several years ago, but now it seems there might be reason to be concerned once again with the recent deaths in Texas due to this disease:

And, it seems this is not limited to only Texas as there have been some reasons for concern in New York also according to the above article.
This is especially worrying as I have family members who live in Texas, although not in Dallas, so that is atleast some small comfort.
Anyone else have relatives in Texas??
