Hi! I was using the GenPlusDroid Emulator with a PS4 ROM, and I noticed something strange. With the Force Flash from the Juza battle, Chaz would take 500+ damage while everyone else took only ~70. Is there a reason for this??

Never heard of that happening before.

For a stable emu, try Gens. I have yet to get a single bug in any of the PS games.

Oh, so it's just an emulation problem. Thanks :D!

I can't use Gens since my only computers are a TiBook/iBook Clamshell, but Genesis Plus has been working great for me.

BTW, how do you load .SRM save states in Genesis Plus? Opening them as a save state hasn't worked for me.

Rika: Umm, Chaz, maybe we should be a little more careful around Juza...
Chaz: Bah, he's not that tough!
Gryz: Of course not! He's a stinkin' mage! What's the worst he can-
Juza: (uses Force Flash)
Rika, Hahn, Alys, and Gryz: (weather the flash with minor damage)
Chaz: (his entire body is engulfed in flame, and he's flailing on the floor in pain) OWAAAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGH
Gryz: ......do?

Google is always your friend.

The problem with less supported emulators is that they are well... less supported! The fact that it's such an old console doesn't help. Coders prefer emulating more recent hardware. Fortunately, some fan games are released for the Genesis platform once in a while so there is still some valid emu support being done.

I /did/ Google that... but Genesis Plus normally saves and loads in .frz, and I was wondering if there was a way to load an .srm file. But thanks :)!

I know nothing about Genesis Plus, but .srm files are typically the saves made through the in-game save feature. In other emulators, they are not loaded as save states. The saves stored in an .srm are continued/loaded from the title screen.
