But then it's all about money again and so last year they were very sparing with the salt and weren't allowed to buy more to make up for it

So they get alomost no snow, use it all up, get tons of it and they can't buy more to make up for the need

Because they get penalised if they use it all up adn buy more

Still, it's not as stupid as deciding to start sharing hardware and stuff with the french military in order to save money. Don't get em started on that. ><

Anyway, winter is here, so my winter walking can finally begin :D

Well while I like generally any weather, winter is generally my preferred tiem of eyar. Unless the boiler breaks down

nothing worse than being cold at home. Living in a cold bothy or tent is fine, but my own home, not so much :p

but otherwise it's nice

for heating

Ours broke down last winter and we had no water, hot or cold for 2 weeks. Stupid landlord was too idle to calls oemone out

but stuff happens

I mean, Quebec's history revolves around hydro-electricity so we almost all have electrical heating here
