Until today it's been hot here, above average hot, in the 90s(F). We got a rain storm and things cooled off a little after that. It's really muggy, though.
I'm resurrecting this thread because today...I watched a funnel cloud go over my head. Here's a link to all the pictures I took of these storms. A few are during my walk in Boston Commons...most are in the area around my apartment.
My brain is currently like 'Whaaaaaaaat did I just watch?!'

Awesome pictures Wolf Bird!! Scary in some respects, but there is just something fascinating about the sky/clouds/dangerous weather also. I wouldn't want to be caught out in it though. Hope you made it through the storms okay and hope your weather is much better today.

Oh yeah, made it through the storms fine - got pretty soaked though, as it started raining pretty hard while I was getting pictures. Plus the wind randomly picked up at one point, which reinforced my notion at the time of 'Am I about to watch a tornado touchdown on top of my apartment?!' Emergency sirens never went off, nor a warning issued. The storm was moving so quick. Weather was much nicer today - sunny, 80s, great day to have lunch outside.

Well, the weather seems to be going a bit stir crazy here in the USA. Signs of seasons changing and winter approaching, I suppose. Read in the news just these past few days that one part of the USA saw a mile wide tornado, while another part of the country saw a big snow storm with several feet of snow, while another part of the country is being affected by the remains of a tropical storm moving through the area with possible heavy rains, thunder and lightning, etc. Crazy!!!
What is the weather like where you are today??
