Today is a bit chilly again. Temps are around ten degrees colder than they were yesterday and the week ahead is going to be a rather chilly one also. Atleast we have sun today, although rain moves in tomorrow night, but supposed to be gone by the afternoon. Chilly weekend ahead also. Still better than winter time though, but I'll be glad when those temps hit 70 again. Love the warmer weather.

Good day here yesterday, temps in the 70's almost, lots of sun, but that changed by evening when clouds filled the sky and rain began. Been raining off and on all night and appears to be in the forecast for all day today also. Temps cooled off a bit to. I'll be glad when this chilly, rainy weather is gone!!! :gloomy:

Not much to complain about in the weather department since Spring has arrived. It almost feels like summer some days. Loving this warmer weather.

Crazy weather!!! May is half way over and I just read that Maine just had a snowfall. It should be in the 80's here but most of this week has been in the 60's and 70's. Winter just does not want to let go!

Our weather is pretty nice today, although a little bit windy and cooler but temps are supposed to warm up nicely again this coming week (80's).

Wanted to share this video that I originally saw on the tv news of a weatherman telling the weather when he happened to see a spider on the screen. LOL, his reaction made me laugh.

It broke 90 in Fenway yesterday.

Today, weather underground is showing the temperature as of this writing at 86, a touch cooler than yesterday. We have an active air quality alert for ground level ozone possibly reaching or exceeding healthy levels. On days like this, enough heat can fuel a chemical reaction with nitrous oxides (emitted from cars and homes) that creates ground level ozone. Ozone is not a good thing to be inhaling, especially if you're young, have allergies, are asthmatic or have another respiratory problem. And for healthy people, it can make outdoor activities unpleasant as breathing becomes more difficult.

Still some very hot weather here right now with temps anywhere in the 80's to 90's or higher in daytime, and around 70's at night. We had a small thundershower last night which cooled things off a bit. It was lightning for around two hours or more before it ever started raining. May have another one sometime today also.

Anyway, I wanted to share what I read yesterday concerning the Farmer's Almanac's weather predictions for this coming winter. These predictions may, or may not, come close to being true, but they are always interesting to read nonetheless:

Summer is winding down and Fall is almost here, and you can feel it in the air. I was outside this morning doing some yard work and noticed that many leaves are already beginning to fall. It is hot and dry here still and the lack of rain is killing what grass is left and leaves too. Temps are still in the 90's here in daytime and no rain in sight!
