Ebay helps recycle electronics

Postby Silver_Surfer1 » Thu Oct 21, '10, 6:02 pm

Ebay has begun a program to help people sell or recycle their old or used electronic appliances/products, etc.:

Will you take advangtage of this recycling opportunity, or do you use other means available in your local area?

Do you think ebay's contribution and efforts in this endeavor will make a difference, or not?

I've seen other places that do this before, but eBay will likely be more successful than those. It has an established reputation and will be able to reach a lot of people more easily. The bonus of possibly getting paid to recycle old electronics will help generate more interest, as well.

Personally, I just keep using the old stuff. Most of my older electronics still work just fine.

Considering the scrappers are currently paying a minimum of around $800 per ton for junk electronics it's going to be very profitable for Ebay.
