Wonder Woman movie

Postby Silver_Surfer1 » Sat May 20, '17, 2:54 am

Heard today that the new "Wonder Woman" movie starring Gal Gaddot (not sure about that spelling of her name) comes out June 2.

Anyone looking forward to this movie?

Since she has also played the role of Wonder Woman in the recent "Superman/Batman" movie, what does everyone think of this actress in this role?

Has anyone seen this movie yet?

I read the movie has made around $100 Million at the box office so far. If that is correct, then I would say it must be a hit! If that is indeed the case, I guess we can look forward to a Wonder Woman sequel.

I finally got a chance to watch the Wonder Woman DVD. I thought it was a pretty good movie although there were a few things they changed that I did not like, such as there was supposed to be a contest to see which amazon warrior got to go to America but in this movie Diana just stole the sword and shield and took it all on herself. I also didn't like that Steve Trevor supposedly died at the end of the movie, but hey, we all know that dead does not really mean dead in tv or the movies! And, the way the Germans discovered the Island was kind of unreal or seemed fake..

I thought Gal Gadot was pretty good in the role of Wonder Woman/Diana Prince, although absolutely nobody can beat TV's Wonder Woman, Linda Carter! Gal Gadot is pretty skinny but with those workout fight scenes, I can see why. All in all it was a pretty good movie.

The movie "Wonder Woman 1984" has been postponed once again. The film is now set to be released on Christmas Day!

Some films have a history of opening on Christmas Day. I would think that would be a terrible time to go see a film since most families may be spending Christmas time together but it would be a great way to spend some time together or alone.

"Wonder Woman 1984" may now be released in theaters on Christmas Day this year (2021).

How does everyone feel about movies that open on Christmas Day?

Have you ever, or would you ever, go to see a movie in a theater on Christmas Day?

My family has and they said it wasn't great, also heard that it had more than a few anachronisms despite having the year it's supposed to take place in in the title.
