Get ready for a new movie featuring the legendary ape King Kong. "Kong:Skull Island" is announced to start filming in only a few days on October 19.

And there are to be more movies in the years ahead featuring King Kong and Godzilla both separately and together.

Really looking forward to these movies. Anyone else?

While watching the NFC Championship game today between the Atlanta Falcons and The Green Bay Packers, I caught a glimpse of a preview they showed of this new movie "Skull Island" which is due out in March of this year. The previews looked awesome. Can't wait to see this movie. Did anyone else see the preview?

And, I also saw actor Samuel Jackson who it seemed was attending the NFC game, and I think he had a Falcons jersey on! Woo hoo!

The new movie "Kong: Skull Island" comes out in theaters tomorrow (Friday, March 10, 2017). From all the previews, etc., that I have seen this looks to be a very good movie, and I can hardly wait to see it.

The movie stars actor Tom Hiddleston (who plays the character Loki in the "Thor" movies, etc.), among other actors.

Also heard that this is one of those movies that you want to wait and see all the credits before you leave the theater as there may be a surprise of some type to see at the very end.

If anyone gets to see the movie, let us know what you thought about it.

"Kong: Skull Island" is being released in the US on DVD, etc., on July 18th of this month!

I'm looking forward to buying a copy as soon as it is out!

Finally got a copy of the DVD "Kong: Skull Island" and watched the movie. I thought it was pretty good. A bit different than the "Kong" movies previously as in this movie Kong never left Skull Island, but maybe this is a prequel to the big ape who usually winds up in New York in other movies. Tom Hiddleston (Loki in "Thor" movies) and Samuel Jackson are both pretty good in the movie. A small scene at the end of the credits may preview possible other movies to come.

Can't believe the first thing they did when they got to Skull Island was start dropping bombs. Oh well, they wanted Kong's attention and they got it!
