Phantasy Star: Fringes of Algo

The 2017 Academy Awards show is being shown on tv tonight, Sunday, February 26, 2017. Check your local listings in your area for times and channels.

I usually enjoy watching these award shows, but tonight, I may boycott and not watch since many celebrities may use this movie awards show to voice their opinions or dislikes about the current Presidential administration. Of course anyone has a right to voice their opinions on any subject, however, I feel that this is not the correct place for such political statements as most people just want to honor the movies and other film work and be entertained, and not hear public bashing, rude remarks, etc., about a subject that many people may disagree with them on. It's just not the right format for it, in my opinion. Celebrate the movies, and leave the other stuff to another time and place more suitable for it.

Anyone else agree, or disagree?

Silver : I understand your point of view ! it's true that logicaly, it's only about movies and actors and cinema, but sometimes it's more than that ! Hope the ceremony is going to be great..but i'll not watch it ! Time lapse plus other things to do = hard to watch it....

Well, I watched some of the Awards show, but not much. I did see the ending and the announcement of Best Movie, whoa, what a huge mistake that was made there with the announcement of "La La Land" as best picture when it actually turned out to be "Moonlight" that won in that category. Felt so bad for the La La Land folks but they handled it nicely.

I've seen this big mistake about the "winner" of the best movie oscar ! Not very funny for the La la Land team but you're right : they take it pretty well !
