Mario game flaw?

This is why I love video game physics! They're so imaginative and silly and fun. Crisp, nonsensical jumps for the win!

It's a feature, not a flaw. Besides, isn't it pretty arbitrary to point out this particular "flaw" in the game's physics? You don't need to do super smart analysis to conclude that Mario games don't follow the common laws of physics simply based on the fact that there are floating blocks and coins everywhere.

I'd say that's definitely a case of overthinking a game. It's Mario, it's supposed to be colorful and fun. Not realistic. The walking mushrooms with faces should have been the first clue about that.
