Yes bassist Chris Squire dead at 67

Postby MrKite » Mon Jun 29, '15, 3:20 am

A sad day for Yes fans. Chris Squire has been the band's bass player on all their albums from day one. He died in his sleep last night from leukemia. He will be missed. I was a big fan of Yes. Still am.

This was, of course, all over social media today. He died way too young, and it's impressive he kept with Yes until the very end. I still listen to Yes sometimes, they are one of my favorite classic rock bands. They set the stage for a lot of progressive rock today and even some metal. It's a legacy that'll last a very long time.
