Christopher Lee dies at 93

He was, IMO, one of the best actors for villain roles. Great as Saruman in the Lord of the Rings movies. Plus, he was, famously and maybe oddly, a metalhead. May he RIP.

I was shocked to see this news about Christopher Lee when I got online a little while ago. I know he was in his 90's but the guy seemed immortal in many ways. Very talented actor, and famous for so many acting roles throughout his long career. He scared me as Count Dracula!! Condolences to his family. That's neat about him being a metalhead. He will be missed. :rose:

Oh, and the article I read says that he was the only one of the Lord Of The Rings cast that actually met J.R.R. Tolkein. Awesome!!

He had actually released several metal albums in the past few years.

He also worked with a few metal bands, like Rhapsody of Fire and Manowar.

One of my friends is choosing to remember him as Saruman from The Lord of the Rings.

I'm choosing to remember him as Francisco Scaramanga, the Man With the Golden Gun.

And not only was he the only LOTR cast member to meet Tolkien, Peter Jackson told him how to act when his character was stabbed in the back. Christopher Lee's response was "Oh, I know what it sounds like when a man's stabbed in the back. (refuses to elaborate further)" He was a spy during World War II, so... yeah.

Wow, I knew he was an older gent, but I didn't think he was that old. He was a great actor that really added a lot of class to just about any movie he was in. He'll be missed.
