I'm stoked to see this, although I see it's not very long. I'm kinda surprised since there's a bit of material that needs to be covered in such a short amount of time. Well I'm sure it'll be a thrill ride all the way.

Well, did anybody get to go see the new "Wolverine" movie this weekend? I didn't get to go, so I guess I will see it some time soon. I can't wait.

I heard the movie did very well at the box office. On opening day, I think it made around $30 Million or so, which was better than X-Men 1 and X-Men 2 movies did, I think. That's pretty good. So far, I think "Wolverine" has made a total of $80 Million or so for this opening weekend. With those kinds of numbers, I wonder if there will be a sequel???

I went and saw it this weekend and it was AWESOME! I absolutely loved Liev Schriber as Sabertooth and of course Hugh Jackman was fantastic! The only thing I didn't like about it was :

They completely changed up Deadpool. Yeah he was supposed to have the healing factor from Wolverine but they gave him Cyclops' power and he had katana blades coming out of his hands like Wolverine. Plus he supposidely had adamantium put in his body as well which is completely wrong. The only reason I'm complaining is Deadpool is certainly one of my all time fav's along with Wolverine. But other than that it is certainly worth seeing and makes me anxious to see more!

Sounds awesome, Darkil!

I read that they have already signed Hugh Jackman up for a sequel movie. :happy_marle:

And, Fans of the Deadpool character will be very happy. I just read where they have ok'd a Deadpool movie, which will be a spin-off character from this "Wolverine" movie.

And, a little tip here....if you go see "Wolverine", stay until the credits are over as you might miss something if you don't.

Here's a link to more on this, but BEWARE, the comments at the bottom of this story may contain some spoilers on the movies, so if you don't want to know, don't read down that far. Okay, you have been given fair WARNING:

I finally got to see the movie this past weekend. I thought it was very good except for the changes to Deadpool. I already knew about that going in though, so I just pretended it was a different character, since it practically was, and then I was fine with it.

I'm kind of ticked off about that scene after the credits, though. Reading up on the movie in the past couple of days, I've found out that there are actually two different scenes after the credits, but they're shown with different prints of the movie. So you'd have to watch the movie twice to get both. That's annoying!

What?! There's two different after credit endings? That sucks! Sure you could see the movie again, which I want to, but how would you know which print has which ending? Ugh...better go check out YouTube..

I guess you'd have to talk to someone who's been to a nearby theater and see if they had a different ending. *shrug* I haven't figured that one out myself.

The ending I saw revealed that Deadpool survived, but apparently there's another with Logan in Japan.

Anyone see actor Hugh Jackman on the "Dr. Oz" tv show the other day? I saw a little bit of it where they were talking about using sunscreen and Jackman's recent troubles regarding skin cancer, etc. I didn't watch the entire interview but it seems that Jackman has said that the upcoming "Wolverine 3" may be his last time playing the character of Wolverine.

https://www.yahoo.com/movies/hugh-jackm ... 00492.html

Kinda sad to hear this as I really like Jackman. However, I don't even remember watching "Wolverine 2". I think I got lost somewhere in the shuffle between the "X-Men" and "Wolverine" movies.

What do you "X-men" and "Wolverine" fans think of Jackman's news here? Will you be sorry to see him go, or not?
