What does everyone here think of streaming music services like Spotify, Pandora, Google Music, etc.? I use Spotify, and I find it a very good way to discover new artists, especially with a last.fm plug-in that pulls in recommendations from there, alongside the ones Spotify automatically generates with my listening history. That said, I'm fully aware that artists basically make nothing off it, but I'm not sure if that's really a problem inherent to streaming itself or to the music industry in general. If I like something enough, I will always buy it in some form, and when I attend a show I always always ALWAYS buy a t-shirt or something from the merchandise table.
Basically all my music is digital, either streamed or stored on my computer - I'd love to say I have a collection of CDs or vinyls, but I just simply don't have the physical space for more than a few favorites, and it's certainly not practical in my everyday life.
