From what I can remember, we had no troubles in getting our first NES but then we probably waited until they had been out awhile so they would come down in price hopefully. I still love this gaming system even today.

Oh, wow, I didn't actually realize it was that bad. Yeah, I was born in the early '80s, so by the time I was old enough to have one my family was able to get it pretty easily. I agree, though, great system, I just bought Blaster Master today (finally, I rented it enough as a kid).
