Sorry, had not even heard of it. However, I am intrigued by its name. Sounds like heavy on angelic and divine themes. What system is it for?

xbox 360/ps3.

yes the idea and concept sounds interesting.
its probably no xenogears; not many games let you kill god.

but i have read good things, but i have also read bad things.
i only assume that people who like phantasy star have a disposition closer to mine; thus if they liked it, I may. compared to the average gamer.

That's true, and a good approach.

If no one here has played it, just try to see the good and bad things people say and see which have more weight for you. Or do what I do, just ignore all reviews, the ones that say it is good and the ones that say it is bad, and go play it.

I have found very few reviewers who do an informed and informative job. A lot just whine, I think to look "cool" or get more views. Some just say a game is "awesome" but do not say why. The few reviewers I like are ones that can admit a game ended up being of a genre they do not like (so they do not like the game), but even so give data about the mechanics for people who may need to learn what the game is like, and give a fair grade regardless of if they hated it.

If you play it, share your final thoughts about it, please.

yes if i can find it for a reasonable price, will share my thoughts.

its very had to trust "professional"reviews, ever since IGN gave the game Godhand 3/10 stars in 2007. That convinced me these reviews are bought, one way or another.

Not played it, nor heard of it. So I went and looked it up and I'm now at least somewhat interested in it. At least enough that it's filed away in the back of my mind in such a way that should I see it on a shelf or a PSN sale, it'll trigger a memory of this thread and I'll be like "Oh yeah! THAT game!" and I might purchase it.

Professional review issues is why I trust metacritic the most for actual reviews as it brings in both professional reviews but also user reviews, so you tend to get a bit of a more balanced view by having both standpoints and more reviews. Critics can put all kinds of stars on something for no apparent reason, but users, who have a totally different standpoint than a critic, point out all kinds of flaws a professional reviewer glosses over.

For comedy reviews, but also sometimes reviews to take seriously, I like Angry Joe and Zero Punctuation the most (even if the latter is very hard to please, I find he often makes good points and I agree with his opinions on actual gameplay more often than not...though I'm a lot easier to please).

Next Pokemon game(s): Pearl
Last finished Pokémon game: Shield
Other games: Skyrim Special Edition (Switch), Spyro Reignited Trilogy (Switch & PS4), Okami (Switch & PS4)
Other gaming goals: completing a Living Pokedex (minus some event Pokes) and going through at least 1 game per generation
