The funny thing is that I've actually heard from Smash fans (whom you would think would be the most adamantly opposed to the game) that this game was really fun in its own right and a neat take on the whole Smash idea.

It's pretty darned fun when it comes down to it; it's such a shame that it pretty much died at release.

I played it a couple of times; my first being with Nathan Drake. Yeah, it has some similarities to SSB, but it's definitely not the same. Augh, it kills me that we won't see a sequel most likely.

One thing that bothers me is the lack of classics...primarily no Spyro, no Crash. I'm sure it's all licensing, but still...
Next Pokemon game(s): Pearl
Last finished Pokémon game: Shield
Other games: Skyrim Special Edition (Switch), Spyro Reignited Trilogy (Switch & PS4), Okami (Switch & PS4)
Other gaming goals: completing a Living Pokedex (minus some event Pokes) and going through at least 1 game per generation

I'd agree, but I guess from a financial standpoint it was a smart move to not bother. Less money for Sony to spend.

Still...no Spyro (or Crash)...kinda makes the game feel incomplete, haha.
