CV4 type whip controls + Symphony's fluid control + semi-nonlinearity via Rondo of Blood

Please Konami!

That would basically be perfect.

I would love a new classic Castlevania. Anything remotely like Rondo of Blood would work for me, that's pretty much platforming perfection in my mind.

Well I think CV4 and Symphony are better "handling" games than Rondo is, but I think a mixture of those styles would work very well in the classic style. It doesn't have to be a rehash of Castlevania 3 either, there's a lot of creative things you can do with the classic Castlevania forumula, it's just a matter if Konami ever decides to have the stones to return to the classic series and experiment with it.
I feel the way you would

The success of Bravely Defaults is "deserved" ! As this game is so great :) About those musics, I think that I'm gonna put some of this game's music in the newly created Topic about game musics ! :)

Since myau56 brought it up in another topic, I would like to see a Skies of Arcadia remake. Preferably on the Vita or the 3DS. I tend to like my RPGs on portable systems. Maybe because I played so many on the DS and PSP.

What a marvelous idea ! On an handheld system would be perfect ! (and now Vita or 3DS it doesn't matter for me ;) ) but...I'me sure it'll never happen but we can dream about it.
Same for me, as now I ONLY play on portable systems :)

I just thought of another game I would like to see. A new Pokemon Snap game would be awesome. I'm sure they would incorporate the tablet somehow. If Nintendo can make a free roaming game as well, that'd be epic.

Another Metroid Prime. The first three were glorious. I want more.

Another turn based PS game would be awesome but even if somehow all the proper the stars aligned and the moon sent lots of moon rays toward japan for it to happen, I'd fear it would reflect everything I hate about current gen PS games. PS is not about rappies, cowboy hats and cute evolving pokemon-bot ripoffs. PS is about the dramatic battle of Algo against the unspeakable darkness.

So yeah, another Metroid Prime would rock. A sequel to Megaman Command Mission would also make me happy.

That's why in every attempt at a pen and paper Phantasy Star roleplaying game I tried, I just completely ignored statting out MAGs! (Besides, it should be about your characters, not the "+5 flaming Elsydeon I totally got off that hunter I killed. What kind of a stupid name is Chaz, anyway?")

Anyways, for actual content, two games that dearly, dearly deserve a remake in this day and age.

Marble Madness
Everybody's played this one by now, but in case you didn't: You are a marble. You roll down some rather abstract landscapes, avoiding obstacles like the Marble Munchers (green Slinky-like... things), Steely Dan the Black Marble, marble-melting slime, vacuum cleaners, and those thrice-damned pounders at the end of the Aerial Course. You have infinite lives, but you are timed-- run out of time, and game's over 'cause it's an arcade game, Midway wants your quarters.

This game really, really needed a remake for the Wii or the PS3 (does the PS4 have SixAxis control?) where you tilt the controller to move your marble. All kinds of abstract landscapes could be brought to life on modern hardware, and hell, I even imagined what the very beginning of the game could be like: Strange sounds playing over a starfield, and after a certain point, pan down to the starting point of the Practice Course, and the strange sounds segue flawlessly into a remastered version of the Practice Course theme.

Turrican
A run and gun shooter originally for the Commodore 64 (or Amiga, can't recall) that had a sequel with an amazing soundtrack, followed by sequels of strange named-ness (Turrican, Turrican II: The Last Fight, Turrican 3: Payment Day, Super Turrican, and Super Turrican 2 are the official games in the series!) Anyway, Turrican and its sequels/rip-offs/fansequels are all about one thing: Shoot or die. To help facilitate this, you are given a fine selection of upgradeable firepower, such as:

The Spread Shot-- fully automatic, fires shots in three directions in front of you. When fully upgraded, shoots 17 shots in a 170 degree fan in front of you.

The Bounce Shot-- equally full-auto, when its green energy bolts hit walls, they break into smaller bolts and fly off at 45 degree angles. When fully upgraded, you get about six or so breaks before the smaller bolts finally dissipate.

The Laser-- just as fully-auto as the other two guns, the laser penetrates enemies behind it. When fully upgraded, your laser is about as tall as your character.

The Lightning Gun-- The most utterly broken weapon in run and gun history, you stand in place and a chain of lightning arcs from your gun, damaging everything in its path. Because its power is based on the Laser's power, you get a longer arc as you pick up Laser upgrades.

The Powerline-- Sends two vertical columns of energy to either side of the screen.

Grenades-- Slow-firing rifle-fired grenades with terrible range, but they sure pack a wallop!

The Plasma Bolt-- Only available in one of the fangames, Hurrican. Think like a strange cross between Goku's Kamehameha from Dragon Ball Z and Ryu's Hadouken from Street Fighter II, and you have the Plasma Bolt.

Smartbombs-- You know what these do. Anything on-screen that's not you immediately bites it on the spot (or if they're a boss, take a decent amount of damage.) Unlike lesser run and guns where you use all your powerups as soon as you get them, you can carry one of these at a time and use it whenever you want.

The Wheel-- Just in case all that up there wasn't enough to whet your whistle against the forces of THE MACHINE (yes, the series' villain really is called THE MACHINE, and yes, you're supposed to bold/italicize its name), you get The Wheel. It's Sonic the Hedgehog's spin dash meets Samus Aran's Morph Ball (complete with bomb-laying!!)

......yeah, I know I just listed every single weapon you get in these games, but I think that counts as a sell. Never mind the fact that modern consoles can give you surreal alien planets and wonderful music and many oddities to test your firepower against, and maybe even a rematch against THE MACHINE. (is a bad salesman)

Nakama: A Card Game of Magical Girls - A completely un-playtested card game about being a magical girl.

Well, excuse me while I defy all laws of logic and common sense and do it anyway.

Win.

Funny enough, in the first D&D campaign I played, my best friend's character was a human fighter named Chaz but that is where the similarities ended with our PS4 protagonist Rune's sidekick.
