A RARE moment where I actually prefer a Tiger handheld

Remembering the games of yesteryear.

A RARE moment where I actually prefer a Tiger handheld

Postby MrKite » Fri Nov 22, '13, 5:07 am

As big of a Sonic fan that I am, I don't really care much for Sonic Spinball, because the game is too damn frustrating. That being said, I got to try the Tiger handheld version today, and I actually like it more than the real game, because it isn't as frustrating and is more like a basic pinball game. It's surprisingly very fun, but it doesn't hold a candle to Sonic Pinball Party on the GBA.

Dang, Tiger handhelds. Man, that really takes me back. I don't think any of them could hold a candle to many games on the GB, much less the GBA. They were great for travelling games before the GB came around, though.

Yeah, I used to love those old handheld games. I remember I had a really fun Ninja Turtle one, and a pretty neat Mario one. Those games were so weird, just one screen and not a lot of variety, but they were fairly tough!

Yeah, I had a Batman game from one of the Keaton movies and don't think I ever managed to beat that thing. They could certainly ramp up the difficulty on them, but I guess that made them worth the cost. No one would have bought them if you could finish them in one sitting the first time through.

I think I still have a Ninja Turtle Tiger in my closest somewhere. It was one of those long green handhelds.

I used to have the one based on Tim Burton's Batman movie as well, but not anymore.
