Guess I should have realized that this was coming after hearing so much about the electric cars and all. Now they are looking at electric motorcycles also. This sounds like a good idea. Although it seems some folks may not be exactly happy with it due to certain sound issues:

On a sort of related note, Tesla recently went open-source with their technology with electric cars.

Good move for them. I've actually seen a few Teslas in the area, especially in Cambridge. I'd love to see this technology go big and I'm happy to see Harley is adopting electric technology.
