Phantasy Star: Fringes of Algo

So Madman Entertainment sometime last week released the new Evangelion 2.22 You Can (Not) Advance movie in Australia. It was actually aired in selected cinemas across the country last year along with The King of Thorn, Summer Wars and another anime movie I can't remember. To bad none of them were shown in my city.

Brilliant movie by the way I picked up my copy on the weekend. I just can't understand how it managed to get a PG rating and only state it contained Mild Violence and Mild Coarse Language. Definitely a false classification, considering some of the stuff is quite high in impact. I remember watching the original Neon Genesis Evangelion series on Adult Swim in Australia way back in 2004. Great stuff.

So are there any other Eva fans on the boards or has anyone seen any other Evangelion related anime before?

I'm not familiar with it, but it looks quite interesting.

I saw some of the original back when it was airing on Cartoon Network/Adult Swim in the US. Not very much mind you, just the first couple of episodes I think. This new movie, I've heard only just the barest details about.

I'm a bit late on this but I need to comment: I am a big fan of NGE and the new release is quite awesome. 1.11 and 3.33 were really, really good but 2.22 was THE single best piece of Japanese animation I have ever seen. Two hours is straight adrenaline, sitting on the edge of my chair. I REALLY enjoyed it.
