Anyone still have your original NES or Super NES and the games that came with them? If so, you may be interested in the following article and video slide:

Oh yeah, I love all my older video game stuff. I've got NES, SNES, Game Boy, N64, and a Saturn now.

That's awesome, man. What are some of your favorites from the Saturn? I just picked one up, along with a copy of Legend of Oasis, but I don't even know if it works yet, since I don't have an AV cable, but I've been checking out games I might want to pick up.

BRAGATYR : I never was a total fan of the Saturn system ! I'm a sega lover but this >Saturn was a bit disappointing BUT I must precise immediately that there is a lot of games on this system that are so great !
The best I can think about is SHINING FORCE 3 ! What a great game :)
But what a deception not to have any PHANTASY STARs... :(

Legend of Oasis is a good one, even if the original, the Story of Thor (in japan ! In the US it's Beyond Oasis) (La légende de Thor in french which is the translation of the japan name) is better IMHO.

I have a friend that is a TOTAL fan of the Saturn ! He have a lot of games (some are still unopened ;) ) and this is very impressive !

Oh, cool, I'll have to try to check out Beyond Oasis when I get a Genesis, I didn't even know they had that one, thanks for that. Yeah, I would love to get Shining Force 3, but Saturn games are so expensive. That's amazing that your friend has unopened Saturn games, those things are so rare.

We do still have the old Genesis I grew up with. It still works quite well, although the stereo sound jack is a bit iffy. Fortunately, I can live without that, since not even all games support that. Still have plenty of the games I grew up with as well…most even still have their boxes! Though the cardboard boxes…not in great shape. Those do not age well.
Next Pokemon game(s): Pearl
Last finished Pokémon game: Shield
Other games: Skyrim Special Edition (Switch), Spyro Reignited Trilogy (Switch & PS4), Okami (Switch & PS4)
Other gaming goals: completing a Living Pokedex (minus some event Pokes) and going through at least 1 game per generation

Yes, this Story of Thor on the megadrive is great (this Beyond Oasis on Genesis for all our american players ;) ) : but the game is very short ! For an action RPG game you will finished it very quickly but it's some hours of HAPPINESS !
Shining Force 3 is indeed a rare game and so it's very expensive...I don't know about the USA but here in Europe there was only the SF3 first episode launched ! The second and third episodes wasn't and will never be..unfortunately...:(

About unopened game, for me I can't really understand ! No interest at all but if he likes it : no problem ! :D

WOLF BIRD : yes, those boxes are often in very bad shape after so many years...
